We are once again in the throws of putting together another great festival for 2019. Trader applications will open very, very soon and further annoucements of this year's celebrity chefs, along with other exciting news will be made available over the next few months.

Ellie the Eel has always taken pride of place by leading our carnival inspired parade. However, after many years of use, Ellie is looking a little tired and desparately needs funds to revitalise her and her friends. We have had some amazing celebrities appear in our Cookery Theatre over the past five years and we are now busy engaging with new celebrities to ensure that we have another fantastic line up for 2019, so keep checking for announcements on Facebook and Twitter

We can't wait to bring you yet another fabulous programme of eel related and inspired menus which will be available across the festival weekend. This is a chance to visit some our best loved eateries and of course try eel! The full programme will be available in April 2019.

"In Conversation With...."

Our In Conversation With programme, which gives a select number of people the opportunity to personally meet and greet our celebrity chefs and hear a little more about their lives and careers, has become a popular part of our festival weekend. We look forward to doing this all again in 2019.
