Monday 6th May, 2 pm - Dr Sue (The Flamboyantly Fabulous)

We welcome Dr Sue, food scientist and food historian who has a very quirky alter ego. Sue appears as the Grande Dame of TV cookery– the Flamboyantly Fabulous Fanny Craddock. Even though this year will mark 25 years since she died she is remembered as the eccentric post war first female celebrity chef.  Fanny will be making an eel shaped cake and talking about eels past popularity. Sue has featured as a food science expert on BBC1, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5, plus as food history expert on the Great British Bake Off. She is a regular local and national radio presenter and writes on food history for Cambridge Edition magazine. What a step back in time!
